Winter Work

Snow Plowing & Removal in Edison, NJ

Edison Excavation clears snow around Edison with a compact track loader: commercial parking lots, long residential driveways, and private roads or shared lanes. The machine that grades lots in summer pushes and stacks snow in winter, so storms are handled by equipment built for heavy material.

Commercial Parking Lots

Lots for offices, retail, and multi-unit properties, including those along busy corridors like Route 1 and Route 27. Property managers can set a seasonal agreement before the first storm, with trigger depth and priorities in writing, so December isn't a scramble.

Long Driveways & Private Lanes

Long, sloped, or gravel driveways and shared private lanes that small plow trucks struggle with. A track loader moves heavy, wet snow and stacks it where it won't melt back across the drive.

Stacked in the Right Place

Snow goes where you choose, away from sightlines, storm drains, and walkways, so the next thaw doesn't leave a sheet of ice across the lot.

Plowing with earthmoving equipment

New Jersey snow is often heavy and wet, and plow banks freeze into walls. A compact track loader has the weight and traction to move it and the lift to stack it high, so a lot stays usable after a big storm instead of shrinking with each push.

  • Where we work

We plow in Edison and nearby towns north of the Raritan. Commercial accounts have their route position agreed in advance, and residential driveways are booked by the season or per storm as the schedule allows.

  • What we protect

Before the season, tell us about curbs, islands, drains, and anything that will be buried under snow. We walk the property once in the fall so the first storm isn't our first look at it.

What happens after you call

From the site walk to the final cleanup

  1. 1. Fall Site Walk

Before the season we walk the lot or driveway, note curbs, islands, drains, and where snow can be stacked, and agree on your trigger depth.

  2. 2. Written Agreement

Seasonal or per-push pricing in writing, with your spot on the route and the priorities for each storm spelled out.

  3. 3. Storm Day

Once snow reaches the trigger depth, the loader works the property in the agreed order: entrances and drive lanes first, then everything else.

  4. 4. Stacking & Cleanup

Snow goes to the agreed stacking areas, clear of sightlines and drains, and we return after the storm to push back banks if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

As a market range, not a quote: residential driveways in New Jersey often run $35 to $75 per push, and $100 to $150 for long or steep drives. Commercial lots are usually priced per push, by the hour, or by the season, depending on lot size and how much snow has to be stacked. We quote yours after seeing the property.
